George
Chimirri Interiors Ltd. is operated by both company directors and
specialises in interior design consultancy work. However their work
increasingly encompasses other facets of design work such as building
design, garden design, and most recently writing about design in
a New Zealand context in the 1994 publication "Open Home"
published by Random House NZ Ltd.
George
Chimirri Interiors Ltd. functions as a compact size company. The
company sub-contracts their own team of specialists to work on individual
jobs as necessary. The benefits to clients from this structure is
a great degree of flexibility by the company in responding to individual
clients needs. Clients can employ the design consultancy either
solely for design ideas, or at the other end of the spectrum to
design, sub-contract and manage a contract of any size.
George
Chimirri is in control of the design concepts as well as business
administration. This results in design concepts firmly rooted in
economic viability, design ideas that work both visually and practically
and make sound economic sense.
As a designer,
this flexible approach to work means not being limited to one type
of design project or becoming "pigeon holed" into one
particular type of design style. George can be more discriminating
in the design work that he chooses to undertake. This flexible structure
enables the company to expand and contract as demand dictates and
ensures that it maintains a firm foothold in the market place long
term.
George
Chimirri Interiors is recognised as one of the leading interior
design companies in New Zealand. George Chimirri's innovative style
is regularly chosen to be published in leading design magazines
in Australasia. Design projects encompass both domestic and commercial
ventures. Much of the companies' recent domestic work has been well
documented in various design publications. A comprehensive library
of work is in the companies office for your perusal. A selection
of examples are available on this website in the 'portfolio' section.
